We offer a variety of lodging to accommodate most everyone’s needs!

Lodges

Our main lodge is the home of Oahe Wings & Walleyes located two miles north of Akaska. Many of our guided clients stay here but we do offer a DIY package for those just want beautiful accommodations, scenic prairie views along with delicious meals. Our lodge has 6 bedrooms with 6 private baths and large wrap around deck to enjoy the SD sunrise.

Our secondary lodge is the Prairie Pillow. It is set in the farmland of north central SD about 7 miles northwest of Akaska. It is a beautiful rustic building with 8 private rooms and two bathrooms. We utilize this for our fully guided clients but also offer a do it yourself package similar to that of a bed and breakfast.

Lodge rates

Rooms: $60/person/night plus tax

Rooms & Meals: $110/person/day plus tax (Plus, we will do our best to point you in the right direction out on the lake.)

Motel

We have a small 6 unit motel on main street in akaska. Each room is newly remodeled with ac and satellite tv. There are outdoor plugins for boats. The Akaska Tavern & Baitshop is a block to the west, within walking distance.

Motel Rates

Single & Double Occupancy: $95/night tax included

Triple Occupancy: $140/night tax included

Rental Houses

We have two rental trailers located just off Main Street in Akaska. One has 4 bedrooms, 2 baths and sleeps 8. The other has 3 bedrooms, two baths and sleeps 7. Both have central air and satellite TV along with plug ins for boats. Both have decks on the front to enjoy the evening after a long day on the water. The Akaska Tavern & Baitshop are a block to the west within walking distance!

Rental House Rates

For either of the two rental houses: $60/person/night plus tax.
Minimum required stay of two nights.
Minimum nightly charge of 4 people in the 4 bedroom rental.
Minimum nightly charge of 4 people in the 3 bedroom rental.
